I have tried with exists clause with hash key in expected condition.

ajayaa could you please clarify what is problem with this bug? Is it absence of validation or you can't use 'exists' for hashkey?

As for me bug looks like describing absence of validation

What is log output?

The bug I raised was for validation but now I came across a use case where I need to put the data if it is not present already in the datastore.

ajayaa here is another bug, https://bugs.launchpad.net/magnetodb/+bug/1368060 and we have introduced it with custom LSI or earlier.

In fact boto sends list of expects by default. It can correlate

isviridov, If I create an exists: false on hash key then it is converted into if not exists clause in cassandra. That works fine.

But if I include range key in expected clause it fails. I will paste the request somewhere for better understading.
