several thoughts, 1) it would be great to have a BP for that. Fell free to register

2) X-Roles. Providing my own role in http header does not look really secure ,)

btw, I got yr idea about placeholders in policy.json - now it's ok for me

We get this information(X-Roles) from keystone-middleware.

If the user uses a UUID token then he wouldn't send anything else in the header except X-Auth-Token.

The same is the case for PKI tokens but middleware wouldn't need an extra call here.

what about PKI? we're switched to keystone-middleware just recently, I didn't have a chance to look into
