The program doesn't have to be installed into each drive and each game folder. If LOOT can't find your install just run the official launcher of the Game. For Skyrim it's SkyrimLauncher.exe and for Fallout 4 it's Fallout4Launcher.exe. ... 02http://git.io/vuMsK

        cobo: Yep.
      • Always.
      • NOTICE: [13skyrim] 15Freso commented on issue #104: I think you should give changing it yourself a go. :) Us "pros" will then be able to provide feedback on what you've done and soon you'll be a pro yourself! :D 02http://git.io/vuMDL

        deaths_soul: 🙌
      • And welcome :)
      • deaths_soul
What's that character? I always have character set issues. I've never bothered to fully set up multiple character sets :)
      • Oh, and I guess I better grab a cloak. How do I go about that? I'm new to Freenode. :)
      • Freso
        Request one on #freenode

      • deaths_soul
Thanks, going there now. Already have SASL set up (I think) so that should make it easy. :)
      • Freso
      • deaths_soul
Yeah, sorry, read that and I guess I glanced over it
      • Freso
        :)
      • I pretty much only use Freenode for IRC.
      • Well, and Twitch a bit these days, I guess. :p
      • deaths_soul
I mostly use IRC for a private little note taking channel on a small and obscure anime network. I find it helps to type in my thoughts in stream :)
      • Freso
I'm active in a number of open source projects (heck, I'm even employed by one of them!), and IRC is still a common communication tech. used in this scene. :)
      • deaths_soul
I'm getting more active. Still getting through school so that takes a lot of my time.

      • Freso
        How old are you?
      • (If you don't mind sharing. :))
      • deaths_soul
25 next week but I have trouble managing large course loads
      • Freso
        Alright, so uni then?
      • deaths_soul
Of course, that's now on the Internet until the end of time :p
      • Yep
      • Freso
I'm currently working a lot on https://codein.withgoogle.com/ which is helping 13-17 y.o. school students to get involved with open source, so I was just curious if you were in that age bracket. :)
      • You may potentially be interested in https://flossmanuals.net/GSoCStudentGuide/ though.
      • That's Google's summer program targeted at uni/higher education students.
      • deaths_soul
They've got one? Never seen that one before. Never got to participate in SoC for various reasons
      • Freso
        Got one what? :)
      • deaths_soul
One for the older age bracket. Sorry, trying to do some server updates as I type :)
      • Freso
Ah. Well, GSoC only required age 18+ (and being enrolled at a university or similar). I don't think that's ever been different. :)
      • *requires
      • deaths_soul
Ah. Then I don't know why I've never looked into it :p
      • There's no shortform for a CSS color code like #434343, right?
      • Freso
        Nope.
      • deaths_soul
Thanks, thought there wasn't but wasn't sure. Side note: I really need to clean my keyboard every few months. After a year and a half, it's already very grimy...
      • Freso
        Mhm.
      • I'm putting the plasting cover that was over my new keyboard when I got over the keyboard when I'm done using it.
      • I can tell that it's already saved the keyboard from a lot of dust. :p
      • deaths_soul
That's what I do but my hands are very oily. I wash them multiple times a day and gunk still builds up :p
      • Freso
        Right.
      • deaths_soul
I think I just need to start wearing gloves
      • Freso
I've started wearing latex gloves when messing around with computer internals.
      • I don't think I could use them during regular computer usage though.
      • deaths_soul
Up for a readability opinion? I'm trying to make the CSS files more consistent and I'm not sure what looks better for this part if anyone would like to offer an opinion :)
      • The first one has "Enter" right above "How To Create A Rule" with padding 0 3px, the second one with 2px 5px. Not sure if the extra spacing in the second is too much but it does look cleaner
      • Freso
        What CSS files?
      • deaths_soul
I'm splitting the styles out of the BOSS docs into their own CSS files and synchronizing things more :)
      • Freso
        Ah.
      • Oh. Your the one who's taking over BOSS maintenance?
      • deaths_soul
        Yep
      • I'm the one who's been flooding this room with commits this week :D
      • Yes, lighter colors definitely look better...
      • Freso
        :)
      • deaths_soul
Doing some documentation cleanup while I wait for the libgit2 devs to look into my issue. They suspect I've either found an issue with MinGW or something in their code. :)
      • Ooh, HTML5's optional elements are nice. They really clean up the source. Last time I messed with HTML, HTML5 was still being argued over in the standards committee. Its features are really nice :)
      • Freso
        :)
      • deaths_soul
Don't mind me, I like to use IRC as a sort of live developer stream. If I get too annoying, feel free to let me know and I'll take it to my note taking room :)
      • Freso
Naw. It's fine. I'm just not used to their being non-Git(Hub) activity here. :D
      • deaths_soul
        Ah, good :)
      • NOTICE: [13skyrim] 15WrinklyNinja commented on issue #103: I think you've targeted the wrong branch - `master` is for v0.5 and v0.6, you probably want to merge this into `v0.8`, do you not?... 02http://git.io/vuyh3
      • NOTICE: [13loot] 15WrinklyNinja commented on issue #524: Could you please [provide](https://github.com/loot/loot.github.io/wiki/How-To-Report-Issues-Helpfully) your LOOTDebugLog.txt? Without that info debugging is just guesswork. 02http://git.io/vuyjm
      • Hmm, I think I'll swap around the command line arguments for the version and verbosity. -v is more common for version than -V
      • deaths_soul writes it on to-do list
      • NOTICE: [13skyrim] 15ArielMX commented on issue #103: Thanks for the reply, I didn't know that. The request may be cancelled, I will try to pull on v0.8. PS: The mod is not available on nexus anymore, still it's better to put this on master list in case someone still use it. (I developed a fix (Girls Overhaul Fix.esp) for this mod, I will make mine stand alone and alter the master list for my mod as well) 02http://git.io/vuSJg

      • What would be a good background color for the BOSS readme? The white looks kind of bland
      • It seems there should be some shading somewhere :)
      • NOTICE: [13skyrim] 15Kinaga commented on issue #104: The issue here is whether ITMs in DialogueViews should be considered to make a mod "dirty", since I don't think the game engine reads DialogueViews at all. At the time I wrote the quoted line I suspected that I had edited the DialogueView in a way that TES5Edit did not recognise, however I now think that the DialogueView is used only by the creation kit itself.... 02http://git.io/vu9TF
      • NOTICE: [13loot] 15dwelsh99 commented on issue #512: I was able to get LOOT to work with Mod Organizer for Skyrim, but not for Mod Organizer 2 for Fallout 4.... 02http://git.io/vu9wT
