But that won't help you get logstash running.

is that the correct syntax ?

logstash and elasticsearch version is 6.4.1. Also it is a fresh elk deployment installation followed by bin/logstash-plugin install logstash-codec-sflow

matkins: Did you look at the log file? It should indicate the reason for the restart.

Alternatively you could run it in the foreground.

yep logs were empty so i've started it with -f switch, it told me that "workers => 6" line in the output was the problem, this plugin doesn't support it or smthing
