Hi, I'm having problems with the Kafka input plugin. I got it working from one instance of logstash, now I',m trying to set it up from another machine but the logstash Kafka plugin doesn't seem to start reading.. I can't see any consumer groups being registered in Kafka and the plugin is not logging much at all. Any recommendations on where to start debugging this?

Anyone else experiencing issues after reloading the config with HUP? It doesn't seem to process as much as it did before HUP.. (and the config change has nothing to do with the performance)

I have an exception of OutOfMemory of JavaHeapSpace

While I see it in logstash it comes from org.logstash.beatd.Server

And Java Heap Space seems to be coming from the beats achine

Is this possible?

beats are written in go, so that's unlikely that a beat throws a JavaHeapSpace error

but i gave more memory to logstash through jvm.options
