my logstash instance is exceeding heap memory, I'm using a simple tcp input and a simple kafka output, no filters, how can I set the -w flag described in the error message?

Specify -w for full OutOfMemoryError stack trace

this is on logstash 2.4.1

guess i should have started here, lol, i was asking in #elasticsearch without thinking theres a logstash channel...

so i'm having issues getting logstash to parse a file properly

it's an XML file for input and i'm trying to parse it with logstash and then send it to elasticsearch

whats weird is it works fine if i only have 2 records in my XML file (thats misleading because its two "records" with a bunch of child elements)

if i put in 3, it craps out

if I cut out big blocks of the child elements, now it works for the 3 records

so i'm thinking i'm running into a max file size / individual record size with logstash

i also just dont understand how these multiline codecs work
