has anyone had an issue with redis input, where logstash can’t keep up with redis?

brandt_tullis_: there are a number of tuning parameters - are you using them?

torrancew: I made all of the configuration changes recommend by redis

I mean on the logstash redis input

there are batching parameters you can tune, to adjust how big the batches LS pulls are, etc

I don't use redis, so I couldn't guide you on what values are sane, but you should be able to experiment and measure the change pretty well
