I found a problems on Logstash.

Logstash only keep a new logs.

The old logs didn't show.

trying to parse some log4j xml files with xml filter but it's complaining of the following: :exception=>#<REXML::UndefinedNamespaceException: Undefined prefix log4j found>

any ideas?

any idea for this problem. i am using grok to filter my IIS logs. now my username in IIS gets the domain\ prefix. how can i filter that one?

cant i just use a custom pattern like [a-zA-Z0-9._-]\\[a-zA-Z0-9._-]?
