my template is: .quby_env.customer.measurement.resource.field

how can I cover both? the first has 7 parts, the second 6

the second works. can I use wildcarding between resource and field?

if i try this: .quby_env.customer.measurement.resource.*.field ?

basically i cannot create proper wildcard on graphite

like cpu-* when i filter the results

Hi, I'm storing data from collectd - I can 'select value from cpu_value' but not 'select host from cpu_value' although host is one of the fields.

ERR: statement must have at least one field in select clause - any thoughts?

duczen: are you sure host is a field and not a tag?

you can check the tags by running SHOW TAG KEYS FROM cpu_value

Does influxdb recommend a linux filesystem? EXT4 vs XFS?
