so i apologize as this might be super simple, but i installed influxdb via downloading the package and doing a 'dpkg -i' install...on my dashboard I don't see anything about databases, and i can't even connect through No databases - it automatically picks one for me, just one of the many things that appears off from the documents influxdb web panel

anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on storage issues? Is there a way to back the metrics to s3, or split the data out over multiple machines? Right now I'm running influx on a Linode 4GB machine which gets me just under 100GB storage. I'm approaching that limit faster than I would like, but to go up in storage I would have to double the server price

Hey, anybody around? I just tried spinning up a test database and can't seem to connect; it seems it's on SSL,
but the admin interface fails to connect using SSL and my ruby client can't authenticate with root:root.
