Hello, Im using influxdb 0.8 and python to generate JSON files. Can somebody tell me is that JSON file looks good and is i need [ ] brackets there . I'm getting an error during write_points .... http://pastebin.com/iECs41XB

Hetman: when in doubt, cat foo.json | python -mjson.tool

it will make it pretty for you too

mugu: solved , i was missing points in [ ] and general json in [ ] now im trying to figure out what is the time format for time field and howto generate it in python . time.time does not work

and all on legacy .8 version too

im using python API

grafana not yet supporting 9 fully so need go to 8

0.9 is still not entirely ready for production use yet - missing cross measurement mathematics for me, along with the memory leak I’m having in issue#3528. I’d really like to put it live, though.

Hetman: also, if you are okay with second precision, use epoch. time.time()
