lol I have a 0.8.8 instance with 1.6M series

is there a way to recover shards data? i have a few times i started my influxdb instance over from scratch and zfs snapshotted the archived data in the hopes i could someday reimport it

this is v0.8.x data, wanting to import it to v0.8.x instance. if not, no biggie, i may explore it on my own.

bulldozer1 yeah you can just point the config at the snapshotted data, as long as you shut down influxdb before taking the snapshot. otherwise your raft log might be corrupt

i have a cluster admin, root/root

and some databases, which i created using this user

now i cannot add users to these databases, using root/root. insufficient permissions

same thing happens when i use the cluster admin UI on :8083

after logging in as root/root

influxdb version os 0.8.8

if i list cluster admins, of course i see the user "root"

im fairly certain my raft config is bonked

any way to datarecover shards otherwise ?
