hello #influxdb, any news on how 0.9 will support clustering?

is there some reason when I load the UI at 0.0.0.0:8083 that the page never resolves? .. it just sits in idle.

delinquentme: 0.0.0.0 means it listens on all ifaces

Dieterbe, noted but in actuality im hitting an existing IP

And not only is it failing to resolve ( the loading icon just spins ) .. but the attempts to login with root/root dont show up in the logs

what do you mean resolve, what kind of resolution

whats the default port for the "Hostname and Port Settings"

and "not resolving" == chrome's loading icon doesn't stop spinning on the page

if you're hitting the ip it's not doing any dns resolving, at least, it should just set up the tcp conn

maybe just try telnet first

and yes, make sure you hit the correct port on which the admin web ui runs

nah I get the administration page with the pretty UI

so that works ... it just fails to log me in when I give it the root/root
