hmm influxdb has work flawlessly for about 2 months for my set up, all of a sudden it won't write any incoming series

exporting series over the UDP api

tried backing up my old /data directory, and starting fresh to debug, but still no writes

it'll write the series to save grafana dashboard configs though

nvm seems port mappings in docker got all wonky on me, was forwarding 4444 to 444...

Is there some particular reason that influxdb doesn't reload on restart?

also why does it throw up a usage example on $ sudo /etc/init.d/influxdb reload
