<robertknight> Hello @nsalmon, thanks for the enquiry. There haven’t been any developments on this front recently and our internal development focus will most likely be elsewhere over the next few months. We have a number of publishers wanting to deploy Hypothesis and their needs are mostly concerned with expanding our groups/moderation capabilities.

      • <cjlevinson> Hey all! Curious what interaction there has been btw the Hypothesis project and existing distributed tech projects (ipfs, dat, etc.)? Some things i'd like to see (and happy to contribute to if there are other devs interested in this): - using the hypothesis client (chrome extension) to communicate with a local datastore of annotations, using the same standards for structuring annotation data that hypothesis
      • annotate content on the p2p web (ipfs content via content addressing, local filesystem content) - syncing of hypothesis annotations with exported kindle annotations Is there anyone within the hypothesis community already working on / thinking about this ?
