pandeiro: no strong opinion on semantic-ui, because i can't really compare it. we are using it for 3 months now and it needs very little customization. the team likes it but they haven't used anything else really before...

pandeiro: i choose semantic over bootstrap because i remember the discomfort of having to look up the class names all the time and they seemed redundant too. in a previous company we considered foundation too, but it was quite complicated. i think they went with that finally but it was quite painful.

just asked them. they r just using bootstrap because they bought a template which happened to be written in bootstrap and we used that for a prototype already so they just continue using that for their newer stuff.

where am i supposed to put global boot configuration, like our internal maven repo's access credentials?

so i have the sonatype nexus maven repo proxy and deployment server up and running

it works if i define the repositories in my build.boot, but it doesnt work if i put it into the .profile.boot

the .profile.boot is found and executed because if i put `rm -rf *` into it, it indeed deletes my all of my home directory

but the set-env! in it seems to have no effect (as in something later overrides it)

because the push task seem to have the --ensure-clean set to true by default

that's just something we do in bootlaces

you can override bootlaces in your build.boot file

(task-options! push {:ensure-clean false})

just make sure you put that line after the call to (bootlaces! ...)

because that where the options are being set

build-jar is just a task that configures the built-in tasks

it doesn't actually build jars

the gnu standard for long bool flags is --no-ensure-clean

or in autoconf it's usually --enable-something --disable-something
