how to set haraka as a service in ubuntu 16.04

shamim: look in the contrib directory. There's a ubuntu-upstart folder with some upstart configs. Just modify them to your needs.

i installed it in /opt/haraka

e.g. run `systemctl daemon-reload`

Job for haraka.service failed because a timeout was exceeded. See "systemctl status haraka.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

And did you check journalctl -xe ?

The systemd service file expects Haraka to fork and write it's PID to a that PID file.

That's why it's taking ages and then timing out, because Haraka isn't doing that.

telnet localhost 25 - will connect to Haraka on port 25.
