ultimatt: how do I write a rule in old karma: results.limit.fail@errors = -5 if in fail errors.max

could it be that karma is just not scoring, i've added plugin to exludes: hook=deny plugin=karma function=hook_deny params="909" retval=CONT msg="skipping hook present in deny_excludes.plugins"

limit | fail | equals | errors.max | -5

there were some edge cases that prevented scoring, but I don't recall details

switching to redis pub/sub solved most of that issue

in come cases, karma's hooks didn't ever get called

which obviously would affect scoring

we've since added a couple "always called" hooks
