      • NOTICE: [hammerspoon] asmagill commented on issue #1572: Will try to look at this weekend; any idea what the actual data represents? An archived object? An internally defined structure? Because any text conversion has to make assumptions or run its own heuristics to determine what is a “closest” match, it might be better to treat it as raw binary and then pull out specific substrings that we know are text encodings if we can reliably determine proper
      • NOTICE: [hammerspoon] asmagill commented on issue #1581: Look at the compositing options for canvas. You’ll probably need to define item 1 as a black rectangle then define item 2 as the image with ‘compositeRule’ set to something other then the default of sourceOver; check out https://github.com/asmagill/hammerspoon/wiki/hs.canvas.examples#gradients for a better example https://git.io/vdd8V
      • NOTICE: [hammerspoon] asmagill commented on issue #1583: A custom build of the latest source does not have this issue — i’ll try downloading the actual release when i get a chance this weekend and see if i can reproduce it with that. https://git.io/vdd8M

      • NOTICE: [hammerspoon] asmagill commented on issue #1572: Well, treating it as the input to `NSUnarchiver` and `NSKeyedUnarchiver` didn't work, so it must be an internally defined structure. Looking at it as raw bytes gives this:... https://git.io/vdd2O
