<hardmath123> Seems like a drastic decision.

<zrl> @hardmath123: it's very difficult to say verbally and have people navigate to the site and we think that Hack Club is more brandable (ex. you don't start a hack club with hackEDU, you start a Hack Club)

<hardmath123> Ah. Are you sure making clubs branded like that is a good overall choice? Will people prefer to start a "Hack Club™" or a hack club?

<alexb> I don’t think he is wanting to brand the clubs

<zrl> i think the ideal is the latter

<zrl> we're not quite sure yet

<zrl> i think the important thing is that renaming to hack clubs gives us the flexibility to do that.
