Is it possible to use ember-data canary with ember-cli >= 2.2.0.beta1, i.e., when ember-data moved from bower.json to package.json?

salsburys: in CLI 2.2 ember data is still in both places

it's only fullly an addon in CLI 2.3

like your title says

I believe you can do "ember-data": "canary" all the same

locks: Yes, I'm using 2.3.

It doesn't work in package.json: "npm ERR! No compatible version found: ember-data@canary"

Though I'll admit I'm not very familiar with npm.

they only publish beta and latest tags as far as I can be

2.3 and 2.4 atm

beta -> 2.4, latest -> 2.3

Ah, okay, so currently not possible.
