how do I run an action on an element in an "each"?

you want to pass the element as an argument?

hey locks, I have multiple records on the page in a table.

when I mouse over each tr, I want to show controls

so I can have the record.showControls make the display happen

but I can't figure out how to make that true

if I pass record to the action and set record.showControls = true nothing happens

but alert(record.id) shows the record, which sounds like it's being called as a pointer, not the actual element

the easiest route is making the body of the each a component

and just pass in the record

but I'm confused

you seem to be passing the model

you want to pass the actual HTML element?

not really, just starting to learn Ember for the first time and i've been warned away from 1.12.0 docs due to the fact that they're not the newest. from what i've read i haven't ran into any problems tho. just wondering, thanks!

is there a good list of ember UI toolkits like https://miguelcobain.github.io/ember-paper/

I know some general ones like Bootstrap and Metro CSS do/should work with ember, just wondering if anyone knew of any more choices
