is property("model.[]") to watch for any property change for model?
this isn't really working for me

locks: how can I do that?

you can't

model.[] is to watch insert/removes from an array
watching for any change is extremely expensive
benlieb
there's no shorthand to observe any change in a model's attributes?
seems like a common use case
locks
there is not
it's not
:P
like I said, it's extremely expensive
what if your model has 50 properties?
why do you want to do it?
benlieb
then I'd weigh the costs :)
I wanted to have a validation_errors comp prop
locks
doesn't sound like you need to watch all properties for htat

aren't validation errors set on model.errors?
benlieb
I'm using ember validations and they recommend putting validations in the controller.

Atom's nice.. i tried it in Ubuntu 14.04... had some ridiculous mouse scroll wheel behaviour in it. Scrollwheel works as you'd expect everywhere else in Ubuntu.. but in Atom, it doesn't scroll, it jumps around, and if mouse hovers above check boxes, scrollwheel toggles them off and on.. the most annoying experience ever lol

aw sorry to hear that. i don't use it myself so i wouldn't know how to fix that issue; i Vim all day

I've heard visual code has some nice JS integration

i kind of foud atom to be bloated.. without ssd on my laptop it was kinda slow.. with an ssd it still feels a litle off. (coming from sublime)
otherwise I think i could pretty much switch over to atom.
speaking of vim..
i'm trying to force myself to get into it.
ever since Red Hat prof.. told us about vim.. he also spoiled everyone by showing Nano..
