For my tests, I'd like to process a template file and get the names of template variables (those like {{ this }} ) used

Thoughts on how I can do that?

I feel that testing a template for actual output leaves no room for view testing

I am trying to write tests for my Django application (Live server). I am wrapping my Django application in containrs.

Should I write selenium tests from its Python lib and run the tests outside from the application container?

Or I should use Django LiverServerTest utility and run the tests?

I have never used Django Liver server test API of Django.
