not really a Django question, but still, what is the best way to mark up things like person or event information - http://diveintohtml5.info/extensibility.html (like my paper copy) discusses microdata, and recommends for example Google Rich Snippets, which http://www.microformats.org/wiki/microdata explicitly says not to use

static is not a django template tag

it comes from django.contrib.staticfiles

you need to load it before you use

{% load staticfiles %}

I'm trying to make a scheduling app that will detect scheduling conflicts and alert the user.

I'm not sure how to do that, but I know I'm headed in the wrong direction.

mstrcnvs: what's up buddy. I have been way for a while. And yeah I have. I know /how/ to validate, I'm just not sure what I want to validate against. The time thing is what's throwing me off.

ramblingpirate: if you know how to validate you would know that self.lectures is not where you'll find what the user entered in the form
