cool_boy: its a DetailView, because its detailing an offer with some extra contexts, like, related offers

any way with generic views (CreateView and UpdateView) to detect in the common template if the view is Create or Update?

Hey question. So I have a custom user model and also a usercreation form that gives me the ability to create users. I need to create the ability to send an email confirmation after the user has been created. So where would I do that? Inside my UserCreationForm.save() or the models save?

Like where should I do it?

you can do wherever you want, but the view is the piece of code you'll always look when something goes wrong

So I'd do like UserProfile.objects.create(user=myuserobj)
