anybody ever used django-admin-sortable? Cause if so I have a really odd problem.

Why would one pattern in an included urlpatterns work, but not the second line?

It works if I move the lines into the main project urls.py.

project_list gets called, but trying to get to project_detail returns a 404 (no matched patterns)

Drop the $ from your include pattern. That'll prevent any non-empty string from matching.

The pattern you use with include() needs to be open-ended so that everything after that point can still be matched.
