Is there a way to update and serve a Dat but to not provide its history? For example, if I compile client assets to a bundle.js, and it frequently changes, I don't want to keep a record of all the old versions.

What about me as the owner of the archive? I don't want to retain everything.

(matrixbot) `aralbalkan` Anyone know how I can test out multiwriter with dat-next? (https://github.com/joehand/dat-next). I'm able to import a key on separate device but I cannot dat-next share from it without the key changing. I want both devices to be able to write to it.
(matrixbot) `aralbalkan` It looks like all dat-next <key> <directory> does is to pull in the content with none of the DAT metadata. Also, dat-next <dir> does not appear to pull in any changes unless you restart it.

jhand: hi!
jhand
hello!
ilbelkyr
say, do you happen to be affiliated with dat? (or is some other active regular affiliated with dat?) if so, that will make things a lot easier in the future
ah, cool :) when you happen to have time, do take a look at https://freenode.net/groupreg then; that way we should be able to get things sorted so you can have proper channel access in the future
jhand
Ok, I'll take a look

it should :) do let us know if they ever come in with registered bots, since we'd (a) like to be aware of such development and (b) freeze accounts used for that sort of abuse
