would be cool to have the ability to run scripts in dat-shell

pluggable vms for running scripts, scripts could list dependencies via dat urls, maybe even load native vm code from dats

(scriptjs) Would be nice if the licence for dat-shell was aligned with the dat ecosystem MIT please.

I don't understand the difference between a normal dht bootstrap and a hyperdht node

also does it optimize for LANs so you can connect on the LAN even when disconnected from internet?

I'm guessing I need another protocol for LAN (combination of multicast discovery and TCP direct connect)

come to think of it, dat-shell could becomes a sort of lynx (or w3m) for dats. Could maybe even support client-side js. Who knows!

I've found dat is fairly easy to sell for website publishing

especially as dat to https gateways get more mature

and if you don't mind bloating your history, beaker with live-reload mode is a great way to dev frontend apps
