substack: chatwizard is cool

substack: i have been thinking lately about doing presence notification (seeing who's online) via hyperlog, and have an idea, albeit a hacky one, want to hear about it?

sure

substack: ok, so this involves many messages, but i think the most reliable solution is that each person sends out an "announce", a message to which nothing links - then, people who see that announcement post an ack that links to that announcement node

the idea is, you only trust replies to announcement's you made
