ogd: mafintosh oh dang the intro to json in try dat tutorial is messed up

ogd: it says dat export -d people will give you the auto-generated key, but it doesn't

ogd: you have to do --full for that. i'm going to change it so it uses a given key in the dataset for now but we should address that

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask but is anyone else having issues with 'prebuild --download' when installing dat?

karissa: we think waldo had an old dat

karissa: and sboysel's problem may be related to them using the brand new iojs 3.0.0

documentation is hard

ive been going through get-dat and realizing we need to explain updates and log and status

karissa: me and mafintosh are talking about making the installation output more helpful in the case where it cant get a prebuilt leveldown

ogd: mm. yeah, when you do the tutorial it makes sense though

ogd: it could be done differently though

ogd: i don't find skipping through subsections on the upper right to be necessarily super handy. probably just need prev/next

karissa: yea i would do it with a prev and next button

ogd: no one has asked for it but i think that it'd help with tutorials to understand how keys work and how you might integrate dat into an existing program

for setting 1 val easily from cli?

would be nice if there was a workflow for writing a binary value too. maybe passing a filename to read or stdin
