I don't think it's currently possible to add permissions to just a user right? you need to assign the user a rank and do it like that?
      • is there no way to say, this user is in this rank and inherits it's permissions, but in addition to that this player specifically also has this extra permission?
      • RonGranger
I think you have to create ranks
      • but I am not really sure
      • PureTryOut
yes but an user can only have 1 rank at a time. I want to be able to give or take permissions to specific players, not whole ranks
      • RonGranger
        yeah... wait
      • I am not sure... But I guess it is not pissible
      • *possible
      • PureTryOut
being able to add multiple ranks to players would also do the job, although a bit of a hack
      • yeah I guess I just make a feature request for it. I need it for my plugin lol
      • RonGranger
        yeah :D
      • PureTryOut
so I see ways to remove files in cFile, but not a way to add files...
      • *create files
      • bearbin
PureTryOut, Ranks can inherit so you can create new ones for a single player on the fly AFAIK
      • PureTryOut
        ranks can inherit?
      • ranks can have different permissions group yes, but that means everyone in that rank will have those permissions
      • bearbin
but there isn't a limit on the number of ranks you can have?
      • PureTryOut
each player has exactly 1 rank. no more, no less
      • yeah I could dynamically add or remove ranks to people I guess, but that would also remove permissions given to them by the admin, like admin or moderator permissions
      • as again, a player can only have 1 rank.

        Hi
      • bearbin
        hi CreativeC
      • CreativeC
I've read on the Github s page "Cuberite can run on Windows, *nix and Android operating systems. This includes Android phones and tablets as well as Raspberry Pis"
      • Does that mean Cuberite is compatible with java version AND MC PE edition ?
      • bearbin
No, it only means that you could run the server on your phone if you wanted to, not that you can connect to it with your phone.
      • CreativeC
        Ok
      • in the future, could we thanks
      • Fail sry ^^. Just Thanks
      • bye

technically it's not hard, but it's a lot of work :)
      • np
      • PureTryOut
make Cuberite compatible with PE and normal version? lol sure
      • sphinxc0re
        bearbin: bump :)
      • bearbin
        sphinxc0re, ?
      • sphinxc0re
Hey, I'm currently putting together a concourse provision for the server
      • could you make a Dockerfile for building cuberite
      • bearbin
        AFAIK it already exists
      • sphinxc0re
throw it into a new repo called docker-build-image
      • a BUILD Image?
      • with system lua and stuff>
      • ?
      • bearbin
      • probaly not
      • It's just I remembered that I had made a dockerfile.
      • I'd probably need to do a bit of research as to what the requirements are/about concourse
      • sphinxc0re
        no
      • You really just need to write a Dockerfile that fits our requirements
      • I'll do the rest :)
      • bearbin
I'm sorry, what is your requirement? What is a "build image"?
      • sphinxc0re
Think of an environment perfect for building cuberite. Put it together into a Dockerfile
      • I'm also thinking of creating a complete repo only for the concourse provision
      • bearbin
can you explain the advantage of concourse for us?
      • but I'll see if I can do a dockerfile tomorrow
      • sphinxc0re
That would be good. I don't want us to use concourse right away, but I want to look into it so that we could switch to it eventually
