well, unless bitcoin and it's derivatives don't get their act together we'll end up having to use some countrys digital currency which will screw us since each country will be able to control what you can or cannot buy

hey guys, does anyone know if coins will tone after grading?
      • badon
myth0d: Yes, they can, but when stored properly the rate of toning can be slowed to negligible amounts (centuries to notice anything).
      • I always put my slabs in a tight-fitting bag, 3 X 2 inch if I remember correctly, and then seal that in another bag for storage until I want to take it out and enjoy it.
      • You need to keep temperatures as stable as possible.
      • copper/brass/bronze (CBB) is more prone to toning than silver, and of course gold, platinum, palladium, etc do not tone significantly in ordinary circumstances.
