Jeruuu: Yes, I think it's OK. I don't know about the actual mintages though. Most of those probably should not have actual mintage numbers on them, if it isn't verifiable or explained.
You can find the missing types too, I assume.
badon goes back to pancakes.

No, I think I will eat them all myself.
You wouldn't like them :)
Jeruuu
Greedy much
badon
Who? Me? No I'm just protecting you from a life of agonized yearning for more pancakes.
Somehow I just plopped myself into a similar discussion in #peoplesproblems
Apparently the most good I can ever do in the world is instill the love of life into the people of the world. And the best way to do that is to become a serial killer, haah.
Can you please tell me what is in the link so I don't need to guess what you're trying to show me?

2008 1 oz silver lunar rat colorized from ngc that says its proof
if ngc can be the basis
if ngc can be the basis
badon
It only needs proof in the name if there are non-proofs, or if for some reason we need to make it clear they are proofs and thus distinct from some other coins. I might be wrong, but I think maybe the reason we started calling these proofs was because there is a series of non-colorized non-proofs that they might be confused with.
IT's one of the lunar sets that is often confused with the piedforts, and I Think we called the piedforts proofs for this same reason, just to make it clearer that they are different from the non-proofs.
Do you remember something along those lines?
It has been a while since I looked at them.
Jeruuu
No
badon
OK, I think there is a table that compares them side by side. You should be able to find it if you search for the 1 oz silver piedforts.
<badon> Did they not have the word "proof" in the piedforts?

Jeruuu?
Jeruuu
I'm here
Because you said we only use proof when there is non-proof
and because you said proofs are piedforts
badon
Do the piedforts have the word "proof" in their type names?
Jeruuu
yes
badon
Then put the word "proof" in the type names for the colorized ones.
Mehran has quit
Jeruuu
oh. ok
badon
It's for consistency, because it's needed to disinguish all the different types with the same weight and date.
Another reason is we might find colorized ones that are NOT proofs, and then we would have trouble distinguishing them from the ones we have already entered. So, we have already identified a problem that requires the word "proof", and sticking with consistency in type names will avoid any surprises in the future for these.
