#celery

Hello all. I'm having an issue using periodic tasks in celery v4.1. I had a function with the @celery.on_after_configure.connect decarator which calls sender.add_periodic_task(10.0, run_stuff.s(2,2), name='run stuff'). However, run_stuff never gets called. I am runnning a single worker with the -B flag to have it be both worker and beat. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I can definitely get celery to run that task if i call it explicitly... it's only when i use beat/periodic that I cant get it to run
