Hi guys! I'm getting .venv/bin/celery: Permission denied, while running sh -x /etc/init.d/celeryd start

Why does this happen?

.venv perms are 755

CELERYD_USER is in group for this folder

I should set permissions for root folder too

bmbouter: should we contact Fedora and give them notice about the breakages with celery and kombu? we can just link them to whatever issues we create

dalley: ok I figured out the issue, it was my environment

alright, that's good. now only one issue to worry about

the issue was the an rpm install of python-gofer-amqp brought an rpm install of python-amqp which downgraded that library by a major version

when I merge a PR into kombu's 4.0 branch for a fix needed in 4.0.3, do I cherry pick that commit also into 5.0-dev AND master?

asksol: also where should I send these questions to be sure to get answers?

also for kombu how is 5.0-dev and master branches different? I expected master to be dev for 5.0
