how can I catch an exception return by the get() method of an AsyncResult ?

I want to retrieve the initial exception, not the one built in celery.backends.base.MyCustomException

I have a utility module that has own utility_log = logging.getLogger(__name__). if a celery task module imports the utility, there's no log from utility_log

should utility module use get_task_logger ? but that feels awkward cause the module could be used elsewhere like http server

in that case, http server process does log utility_log

Anyone here experienced a similar memory leak as described in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17541452/cel..., where one have to close the entire terminal session to release multiple celery workers? I dont think I can adjust the CELERYD_TASK_TIME_LIMIT to much, as it's relatively long tasks.
