greg0sky: both rabbitmq-server and rabbitmqctl are usually run as root

thanks asksol, I have gone through rabbitmq documentation and it seems rabbitmq-server should be run as rabbitmq user. That seems to be the default behavior on arch linux

I noticed that on my host machine (i.e. the one where I'm running virtualbox from) rabbitmq does not give me any issues

however within virtualbox where I have installed fresh system with no iptables etc. I get this badarg error

`badarg no error logger present`

also documentation within celery assumes rabbitmq-server is being run as rabbitmq user

I have spent whole day trying to figure out in what way this virtualbox rabbitmq installation is different from what I have on my host machine

and could not find single difference

ok found it!!! for future reference - never run rabbitmqctl from locations where rabbitmq does not have read access.

i'm getting an error trying to import celery. "No module named utils.log"

there's also some message that says "import resolves to its containing file"
