#celery

Anybody here familiar with using SQS as the broker for celery?

I can get the worker to start up but I get a bunch of these errors once it started up:

[2014-02-26 20:07:10,880: ERROR/MainProcess] Process 'Worker-23' pid:606 exited with exitcode 1

no exception, exits right away ?

do celery signals need to reside in same file as tasks?

im seeing weird situation where they register from within the task file

but not when function from other module makes the call

can someone help me with defining a custom exception?

I'm getting

kombu.exceptions.DecodeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'ReportError'

report error is my custom class the inherits from exception
