the biggest upside of fiddling with beets has been a chance to do something technical again. It's embarrassing how long I went without touching the CLI. 5 years running the company and for the last 3, I almost never opened the command line, touched code, etc.

Almost child like join running SQL queries. Crazy...

haha! restored my genres!! happiness ensues…. had to delete all of the busted genres attributes by hand from the database.

w00t. don't have to reimport.

reimport is not suuuper painful
