djslash, that's what I'm doing now, It works, but it's not efficient for how I'm using it. I put a context menu into pcmanfm to import music. That's where it would be nice for it to move somewhere else so I know it's been added, but I have the original in case I'm unhappy with how I ended up adding it.
maybe if beets returns error codes or complete codes I could write a bash script to move it if it returns the complete code?
