just found out about it today and its pretty awesome

is it possible to embed a recording on a website without having to host the thing at the asciinema site?

and the player they use

might be able to reconstruct it that way?

I want just the js and style

turns out the player doesn't read the json as-is, it reads a compiled format of it

which apparently needs a 483 line ruby program to generate. hm

oh well :)

I'm no js guy so would have a hard time contributing to that part D:

I think I'll do with hosting at asciinema.org for now and keeping the recording file for archival

one day I suppose the js could handle it
