morning janeted, on my way to a meeting, but can you check the logs on staging, still cant use DELETE /api2/partners/teams/[team-slug]/projects/[project-slug]/
      • janeted
sure - sorry about that - I had to run away yesterday after my call
      • zombieF, MultipleObjectsReturned
      • Value:
      • get() returned more than one Project -- it returned 2! Lookup parameters were {'slug': u'kom-igang-med-fine-art-papper'}
      • Location:django/db/models/query.py in get , line 368
      • are you including the team slug in your request?
      • I thought we saw this before?
      • zombieF
hmm the request looks like this ..
      • teams/moderskeppet/projects/kom-igang-med-fine-art-papper/
      • so yes
      • with DELETE /api2/partners/ before that
      • janeted
so maybe we aren't including the team when we query.
      • zombieF
BUT I do have the same project in both our teams
      • janeted
        right
      • zombieF
so I should consider it a bug in the API then … and do nothing about it for now ...

      • janeted
so - let me check on it with a dev a bit later today and I'll get back to you.
      • In the meantime - I guess you can either have different project names (add a prefix for your internal team) or not try to delete projects.
      • zombieF
I'll just leave them for now, that is - keep the code but do nothing about the error :)
      • if that is ok ..
      • ah what the h-. i'll just comment it out

        maggie_s_, are you still here?
      • maggie_s_
        janeted: yes
      • janeted
I was wondering if you've seen that timeline issue again? Or have any ideas on how to reproduce
      • 1357
      • maggie_s_
janeted: no, that one didn't happen for me, sorry!
      • janeted
ok - maybe it's just some odd thing
      • but of all people for it to happen to, why jenny
      • sylvainc
janeted: maggie_s_ I've been again trying to reproduce it for a while this morning... also unsuccessfully
      • maggie_s_
janeted: the screenshot looks as if the first subtitle were stuck on the screen - we had this issue, but sylvainc has fixed it
      • sylvainc
        yes, eaxctky,
      • janeted
do you think she was using amara.org vs staging?
      • sylvainc
it does not look like a sync issue,
      • janeted
I actually impersonated her account on staging because I was having a hard time finding the video
      • and did see where she had edited that video
      • didn't
      • sylvainc
actually maggie_s_ on the scrrenshot, the video is at 0:02 which matches the displayed subtitle, and the cursor is on 0:08
      • so maybe not the issue of first sub being stuck there
      • janeted
So it's the timeline itself, that's too far to the left
      • as the timeline 0:02 should be in the center of the view.
      • The cursor never moves
      • sylvainc
yes, i am confused, as the subtitle to be displayed on the video comes from the timeline, which should mean that video and timeline are "in sync"
      • but the cursor does not seem to be at the right place
      • maggie_s_
right. Suppose she clicked on the video slider to reposition the video? I believe the timeline is redrawn only after you click Play?
      • sylvainc
you can make a similar screenshot by dragging the timeline but not release the button... not sure if that would help me find where the issue is
      • janeted
but here's the same issue, different screenshot
      • 0.00 should be at the center of the screen -
      • that's what is looks to me as if the video was at 0.08 seconds
      • then she when to the next stage
      • and the video reset - but the timeline didn't update and move back to the beginning
      • sylvainc
it looks like this, but I did not find any bug there yet,
      • and also the timeline gave to the video the correct "current subtitle"
      • janeted
in this one, her times are crazy
      • looks like she deleted a bunch of subs at the starting.
      • maggie_s_
hmm, I tried zooming in and out the browser with the subtitling editor, and the red line disappeared totally at 90% zoom
      • janeted
sylvainc, I sometimes see this in my console
      • .PPAPIContext: GL ERROR :GL_INVALID_VALUE : glTexSubImage2D: bad dimensions.
      • and had the start time offset by about .02 seconds
      • or .2
      • something
      • but not so extreme
      • sylvainc
        that could help
      • 0.02 offset is still not correct
      • in the screenshot, do you think these are imported subtitles?
      • janeted
        the blank ones?
      • sylvainc
the time stamps are regular, but ref and working do not match
      • maybe the ref was imported, then some in working language were dleted?
      • janeted
probably started a new language - which has the lines prefillled
      • then I'm guessing she used the ESC key to delete the subs (what you just fixed)
      • because she reported that to me in the same email

        hi janeted, are you around?
      • janeted
        hi sylvainc
      • sylvainc
i might have seen a similar error just now (the issue of sync)
      • I was getting a 403 eoor on the video
      • then whan i tried to play, is was completely out of sync
      • janeted
        oh - so that's nutty
      • sylvainc
So maybe this error happens when there are some types of errors in the video playback/popcorn, that prevents some of our calls to complete
      • but that's all I have :(
      • janeted
that makes sense in that it's nearly impossible to reproduce
      • ehazlett
        started new worker
      • janeted: ^
      • janeted
        so it had died?
      • ehazlett
nah i just killed it and started a new one
      • janeted
        ok
