hi. when we do a call to /api/morechildren, we give it a list of id's and a sort order. From what I see, we get back a flat list of items, which we have to actually manually map back to parent/child relationship
      • does sort-order really matter for this?
      • right now i am just building a tree based on parent/child. the first child i see goes to the top of the parent's children
      • so, the tree i build will remain the same (i think), irrespective of the sort order I give the api call
      • pokechu22
I think the sort order matters so that it can determine _which_ children to give
      • Because if the sort is top, then you're going to get different ones out of the sublist than if it was new

        pokechu22: hmm...but, as a consumer, i would treat them all with the same priority. For example, if i give id A, B, C, D and it gives me B, C, D - I could show it as B, C, D or C, B, D?
