Hello, anyone recommends using git inside ST?

i'm giving sublime text a go, but one thing that's bothering me atm is the way it creates files in the current directory for file history. how do i either disable or change the directory that it places these files in?

additionally, what's the magic key sequence to enable editing a file?

i've removed all packages except for package control and monokai theme

Anyone knows if there's a way to bind a key based on a dict view setting? Vintageous sets `settings.vintage.something` but I can't seem to reach it.

actually it's `.get('vintage').get('something')`, so not really the notation above (not in python)
