      • seanlinsley
what are you having trouble with?
      • jefferson
I'm need put activeadmin in iframe
      • But i'm building a chat with "realtime" tecnology. Like nodejs and couchdb..
      • I don't know override main layout.
      • This place's the best location for this issue?
      • seanlinsley
in what way do you want to override the main layout?
      • jefferson
        I have no idea.
      • srs
      • I know little about the structure of activeadmin.
      • seanlinsley
I mean: what sort of UI changes are you looking to make?
      • jefferson
        Got it.
      • Add a chat.
      • Without having to refresh the connection chat, every time the page is updated activeadmin.
      • seanlinsley
It seems like the better option would be to use turbolinks
      • jefferson
        I'II see it.
      • Would enable the turbolink in activeadmin?
      • seanlinsley
I haven’t used turbolinks myself, but yeah, that’s what I had in mind
      • jefferson
Ok I will see this and post the result here if I succeed .. srs
      • Thanks for you attention!!!
      • seanlinsley
        happy to help :-]
      • jefferson
        Crazy
      • Turbolink is magic..kkkk
      • I tested now and activeadmin just made some ajax requests to check the shifting of content on the page. Very good.
      • I'm impressed!

      • If somebody use turbolink, don't forget to change $(document).ready(function(){ .. } ) to $(document).bind('page:change', function(){ .. }) in every call.

Does anyone know of an example of an Ember app that fetches data from ActiveAdmin?

      • seanlinsley
givanse: well, you can access the REST HTTP actions via JSON
      • I haven’t built anything with Ember yet
      • givanse
Yeah, I'm playing with it right now. API access seems to be pretty straight forward. AUthentication and authorization not so.
      • seanlinsley
        can’t you just include jquery_ujs?
      • givanse
mm, ok checking, will come back with results
