Hi, is there any way to define a base folder for dependecies in a cargo project? I'm trying to make a dynamic cargo file for rusting a C project, and trying to fit cargo into the existing file structure.

I want my makefile to append the nessesary dependencies for a target to the cargo file for that target

Hello, I'm defining a custom cfg option in my build script, something like println!("cargo:rustc-cfg=mycfg"). It works just fine in my crate's code, but it doesn't work to define a conditional dependency in my Cargo.toml file. I have the line [target.'cfg(mycfg)'.dependencies] in the manifest, but it's never triggering.

Can the Cargo.toml file not see these custom cfg options from the build script?

Is there any way to define another custom cfg that the Cargo.toml file will see? (besides features, which won't work because i have multiple crates in a virtual workspace that each need multiple features)
