hello guys. I am trying to install kazoo 4 on a centos machine and I follow the tutorial from https://gist.github.com/jamesaimonetti/1e08a3e7... but I get "Failed connect to packages.2600hz.com:443; Connection refused". Any suggestions?

Does kazoo use the voicemail templates that are in the freeswitch config?
bongfrog
you mean the vm to email template?

mc_
hmmhesays: voicemail is done in kazoo, not using mod_voicemail
hmmhesays
mc_, is there a template for the voice menu's in the voicemail app then?
mc_
hmmhesays: not really, you can change the prompt files
to say something different
but the general flow is static
hmmhesays
mc_, gotcha I have customer complaining that there is no from number after it reads the date and time
bongfrog
mc_: you are alive how are things?
mc_
bongfrog: good, still in limbo waiting for the baby to join us
so lots of thumb twiddling

Hey everyone I have two questions. The first is much easier to answer the second requires more thought.
The first question is, can you allow more than 1 SIP registration per username/password pair. We are working with a soft phone UC solution that will only allow us to enter one SIP username and password for several different touch points

mc_: glad to hear things are going well and my best wishes for you, momma and the newbie
mc_
jjw8188: multiple registrations are not supported
afair
jjw8188
okay
No way to force it?
hmmhesays
voicemail doesn't have an option to transfer to another mailbox hidden somewhere does it?
mc_, naw I was looking for an option within the voicemail app itself
jjw8188
Got it

Hey I have another question. When I make a call to the PSTN, it seems that Freeswitch will sometime wait like 2 to 4 seconds before starting the bridge command out to my carrier
This adds ALOT of PDD to the call. Anyone having the issue?
It could also be Freeswitch waiting to hear back from ecallmgr, or something. All I know if that it's becoming a problem for me and I would LOVE to fix it
hmmhesays
you can see how long it takes for ecallmgr to give you a dialplan in the freeswitch logs
jjw8188
Let me look
hmmhesays
It'll be between the intial park command and the bridge string returned
jjw8188
okay
I was just going to ask that
In this test case it was 3 seconds
from park() to bridge
hmmhesays
that's quite a while
jjw8188
I have 5 zones setup, and it happens to them all
Our carrier PDD is about 2 to 4 seconds
mc_
jjw8188: what app is processing the call?
callflow or trunkstore?
jjw8188
looking
I wanna say trunkstore
mc_
jjw8188: update to the latest 3.22 or 4.0
3.22.67 i think
jjw8188
I am running 3.22.67
mc_
oh, ok
hmm, well
jjw8188
That is the first thing I did
mc_
logs!
:)
jjw8188
it appears to be callflow
I can't find anything in the log for trunkstore
mc_
use the call id to grep the logs
jjw8188
Isn't trunkstore just for sip trunking?

you should see where the timestamps jump a bit
jjw8188
can I drop the log into past bin for you to look at
