For anyone looking for a multi-tenant, cloud-based VoIP solution, there is nothing like Verizon’s UCCaaS service. (I’m gonna just leave that one hanging out there.)

Hence my interest in seeing whether Cisco SIP based phones can be used with other solutions like Kazoo. And to be clear, I do NOT mean Linksys units. No Cisco SPA here. (I hear those are actually quite decent.) I’m talking their latest 8800 series like the 8851/8861s.

FYI: If you’re talking to Verizon folks and they toss out the word “multi-tenant”, just think of that line from Princess Bride about “Inconceivable”… Inigo Montoya: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
